Questions for the jazzman in the corner
Blowing his saxophone
Catching the world in the backbeat
Lounge lizard suit on
Glory days are come again
Crusader for happiness
No politics or hatred
Tired feet, no angry music
Cat in the fridge
No hostility in this
Blowing through the map
Exotica of notes
Funk through the night
Mist in the morning
Draggin’ himself home
Restless feet, he ain’t alone
Sundown and the bar beckons
Smoke wreathes the floor
Virtual escapade
Blue saloon and the meter’s running
Can’t get no trade
Running ragged blow below
